PPG GROUP

APPG is a group of believers who have chosen to come together to pray and to intercede for the Servant of God Patrick Peyton so that he may be declared a Saint, to continue his family ministry, and to pray for their own families and others throughout the world.

This club helps our students build a prayerful life which models them to become better Christians and better citizens.

Objectives of PPG

To promote unity, faith, vocation, and Christian values
To pray for the families of PPG members and all families worldwide in their various needs, and to help them grow spiritually
To awaken a sense of mission within families and strengthen the Church, since the family is the foundation of a strong Church
To pray for the growth of Holy Cross family ministry worldwide.
To pray for peace in the world (within families, communities, and nations)
To help spread the message of Patrick Peyton encouraging a life of prayer in families, especially the Rosary.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PPG

To set aside at least one day per week to meet and pray together according to the guidelines provided or any call to prayer from Holy Cross Family Ministry office
To pray for families and students facing various challenges within themselves, in society, and throughout the world
To prepare and pray a special novena aimed at interceding for Father Patrick Peyton, and to follow various directives related to calls to prayer from Holy Cross Family Ministries
To organize retreats for personal reflection or discernment and to strengthen the spirit of prayer among members
To organize Holy Mass and participate in various liturgical celebrations prepared by the Holy Cross Family Ministries
To actively participate in praying the Rosary during May or October for various family and social intentions

The primary goal of PPG is to gather together in prayer for various intentions, especially praying for his canonization of venerable Fr. Patrick CSC because of the work he carried out and which continues worldwide through Holy Cross family ministries that promotes family prayer, particularly the Holy Rosary
